The Ravens Suffer a Hard Lost, But Hope Remains in Baltimore
This past Thanksgiving night, the Baltimore Ravens faced off against the Cincinnati Bengals in M&T Bank for a heated divisional matchup. The Ravens, coming off of a 5-game win streak, were excited and thankful to play on this amazing night, but the return of Joe Burrow marked danger for the Ravens. While our defense put up a good fight, the Bengals eventually triumphed with a final score of 32-14. While this was a disappointing end to such an eventful night, there are still some shining lights in Baltimore.
The running back (RB) game continues to stay strong in Baltimore with RB Derrick Henry and Keaton Mitchell both securing the only touchdowns of the night for the Ravens. Baltimore’s defense also led with strength holding the Bengals to only 4 field goals before halftime. While Lamar Jackson did throw for 246 yards, two passing touchdowns were negated due to a fumble by Isiah Likely and an offense pass interference penalty by Zay Flowers.
The Ravens, who are now 6-6, stand second in the AFC North behind the Steelers at 6-5. So, hope still burns brightly in Baltimore for the title of AFC North Champion, but some changes will need to be made if the Ravens still hope to contend for the Super Bowl this year. We look forward to next week's very important game against the Pittsburgh Steelers and wish the Ravens good luck.
